We recently celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at Brindabella Hills Winery, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue.

From the very first visit, we knew it was the one. Driving up the driveway and seeing the combination of rolling vineyards and breathtaking mountain views immediately won us over, it even reminded us of the south of France, which made it feel especially meaningful for us.

A huge part of what made our experience so incredible was Maddi, the event coordinator. She is simply outstanding. From day one, she was enthusiastic, organised and incredibly generous with her time, jumping on calls whenever we needed and answering every question (no matter how small or random!). In the lead-up, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, with excellent communication throughout. She also worked seamlessly with our other vendors – photographer, florist, celebrant, musician and our cake supplier, ensuring everything aligned beautifully.

On the day itself, Maddi was absolutely amazing. She handled everything behind the scenes incl. coordinating with the MC and celebrant so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. We were able to completely relax, trust her judgement, and just enjoy every moment. Her experience and passion for what she does really shines through, and she made us feel so calm, comfortable and genuinely cared for the entire time.

The food was another standout! We chose the shared-style menu which created such a warm, family-style atmosphere among our guests. Everything was beautifully cooked, generous in portion size, and there was so much variety. Many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, including the dietary requirements who were easily catered for.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking – the combination of the vineyards and mountain backdrop creates such a special atmosphere that really speaks for itself, and really shined through in our photos. The wines were also great, with a wide selection of all their wines that our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We also want to mention the staff, who were all so friendly, attentive and professional which contributed so much to the overall experience.

Overall, you can tell that Maddi and the entire Brindabella Hills team are deeply experienced and genuinely passionate about what they do. Maddi made the whole process feel seamless and made us feel like we were her top priority (despite knowing she had plenty of other couples to help too!).

We couldn’t recommend Brindabella Hills more highly, it truly gave us the most unforgettable day and we can’t wait to be back at the vineyard to celebrate special moments in the future.

Aimee & Brandon – 6th December 2024

We fell in love with Brindabella Hills Winery the first time we set foot on the property.
It was the first and only Canberra wedding venue we looked at as we knew we had found the one. We wouldn’t change a single thing about our perfect day and are still mesmerised by it almost two months later.
This was a day we will cherish forever, and couldn’t have chosen a better spot to say I do.

Weddings are special, but weddings at Brindabella hills are magical.
From the enchanting views and gardens, delicious food, heavenly wine, friendly staff and cheeky goats, everything was simply flawless.

But above all else, having your wedding at Brindabella Hills means you get to work with the sensational Mads.
Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe the way Maddi operates. She truly couldn’t do enough for us, and our guests, not just on the day, but in the many months leading up to it she was by our side the whole journey. We had the day of the dreams because Maddi made it happen.
She knew what we needed without asking, made sure we ate all evening and were never without a glass of wine.
Maddi worked with all our vendors to handle all the logistics and last-minute details, ensuring everything went seamlessly. We are so grateful.

The talented chef, Naren, curated a divine menu that catered to all our dietary requirements. The food was so fresh and tasty, complemented by some of the Canberra region’s best wines from Brindabella’s gorgeous vineyard.

Thank you so much again for everything! We can’t wait to come back.

 

Nissie & Jordan – 12th april 2024

What can I say about BHW – my husband and I got married there in April and had the BEST time EVER.
I was never the type of gal to dream of a traditional wedding and Maddi catered to all our requests so that it just feltlike one big party with everyone we loved.

We had an intimate ceremony with just close family followed by our friends arriving for the after party reception.
Maddi made the whole day run seamlessly and I didn’t have to worry about any of the bump in, bump out or organising how the vendors would come together on the day.

Best of all Maddi made sure hubs and I were actually fed during the night, bringing us food
(and just as importantly, alcohol) and essentially making sure the run sheet was followed while hubs and I were busy having fun.

I seriously can’t recommend BHW enough. I want to come back for Christmas parties, birthday celebrations,and any other excuse I can find just to say hi to beautiful Mads and relive the night.

One word. MAGIC.
Our cocktail wedding at BHW was flawless and everything we could ever have dreamed of.
Big shout out to BHW wedding and events guru Maddi for bringing our dream wedding to life at the most perfect location. She went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless and done to absolute perfection to bring our vision to life.
 
Nothing was ever too much of an ask and her warmth and knack for all things weddings set us at ease from the very beginning knowing we were going to be in great hands.

 
As long time fans of the winery and restaurant, it was a no brainer to have our wedding at BHW – And boy it could not be faulted.
From all guests enjoying the gorgeous sunset over the hills with a wine in tow, to the relaxed mingling amongst the indoor/outdoor space, and ofcourse the service.
 
The staff exceeded our expectations to ensure all guests were well fed and looked after, which we received many complements for. So beyond happy and grateful to all of BHW family for such a wonderful memory for us and our guests.

We truly can’t thank Maddi enough for creating such a magical day for us at Brindabella Hills Winery.
The first time I visited in 2019, I said to Michael I thought it would be such a beautiful place for a wedding. I was such a BHW frequent flyer over the years and took so much pleasure taking friends and family out there to wow them over lunches and helped host a baby shower out there too! 
 
When I brought Alex earlier this year, I really hoped he’d love it but I tried not to say much so I wouldn’t influence his opinion. After our fun meeting with you [Maddi], he said as we walked down the driveway that it was really magical and he didn’t want to look anywhere else. That was where he pictured us getting married with our friends and family around us. I was so elated! I’ve always loved it out there and I’ve loved watching the transformation over time, it’s become more spectacular each year and knowing I’d be getting married there has been so exciting these past few months. 
 
Our wedding day was better than we ever could have imagined. It all came together so beautifully (I got teary when I walked in and saw it all!) and you [Maddi] were such an integral part to how seamlessly and smoothly it all ran.
I had no idea how personally involved you’d be on the day and we were both blown away. The attention to detail, fluffing my dress before I walked down the aisle (you [Maddi] even looked like one of my bridesmaids in your chic black outfit!) popping up regularly to check in on us or offer a drink, running around all afternoon and evening moving things, fixing things – you were exceptional. I have no idea how you managed to find the time to film the most beautiful video capturing all the intimate moments from our day but we are so grateful! I still cry every time I watch it and it really hits different with Holocene playing – such a special song to us both. 
 
Thank you Maddi for everything you did for us, for being so wonderful with my parents who adore you, for introducing us to the amazing chef and broader team at Brindabella Hills and making us feel like we were part of the family and ensuring the day ran so perfectly. We wish we could do it all again (minus the nerves)! It was so lovely seeing Michael on the day and we’re very grateful that he let us creep around to his place and capture some photos featuring his incredible house (and view!) and pretend it’s ours.
